Crom's dairy-farmer is displayed again.
Precisely how you got a couple of golds and about 5k per run through Varajar Fells I don't know, but I presume it involved soloing.... right?

That looks really bad. The bald head, the shades, the armor and chaos gloves...lol, just a really bad combo imo.

Thing is, most people don't understand that for the "elite" GW players, it's not about looks at all. It's about, "How much of the most expensive stuff can I stick onto my character so everyone will bask in my awesomeness?"
I've been playing for 27/28 months now and not a snowball's chance in hell I'll ever be able to afford anything more than one, or perhaps two sets of 15k armour. At the very, very most.

It is too bright and glowy for my taste. The clipping is really bad as well. I would not buy it even if it costed much less. However, I do like the magma hands/destroyer gloves. I would like my fire ele to use it with a destroyer staff to go with it.
...goes back to grind.

Hmm my bad. I swear I read that on wiki. Must have been added by somebody just to screw with people and then taken off.

I am one of those people with them and defending the price. I don't hang out in towns and I am not trying to impress my heroes and hench. I feel if you want something you should put some effort into getting it no more no less. Considering how many times I have run into people going off on me in all chat just because I own them .. I can definitely say I didn't buy them to impress the masses.
To the original op I tried every color and settled on blue .. looks cool in the dungeons.
Anyone else having a glitch on warrior with chaos gloves and 15k gladiator chest (fow chest looks bad with it) ? The left arm looks like it is going to fall off at the elbow while running.

If you don't like the look, what does the price of them matter?
I like the look, felt the price was achievable.
I do not solo, I take a full party and kill everything on a map(preferable one with a merchant).
I do not stack the most expensive items I can find on my characters just to brag about how lucky I've been. I very much love the look of my war, its unique, and that is something in a game with 1,000,000 wars running around!

[QUOTE=IslandHermet]The chaos gloves are completely justified for costing 75 ectos and i dont see why people are complaining.
look at it this way
would you spend 75+ectos for the uglyest armor in the game (AKA FISSURE OF WOE ARMOR) OR spend it on cool looking Chaos gloves
its a easy choice IMO [QUOTE=IslandHermet]
Well since you talked about FOW and you think FOW is the uglyest armor in game. PLEASE SHOW ME YOUR BEST ARMOR. Yes i find this comment very rude and I am offended. I think FOW armor is one of the best armor in guildwars and its the most expendsive one in game. Unless you show me an armor that I dont already have then I agree with you.

I don't see why you'd be offended with some one else's personal preferences. I think the warrior's FoW is the ugliest in the game as well. I can imagine people buying it if they actually liked the looks of it, but buying it for status symbol? Well it's their money, after all.

Some of the FoW armors are passable, or even relatively good looking (e.g., female monk and especially mesmer) and others horrible abominations that I wouldn't wear if it was the only armor in the game. In my eyes the female ele FoW armor looks like some kind of retarded scuba gear and I wouldn't change my beautiful white Vabbian tinkerbell dress to that at any price. The price of the armor is a non-issue, it's all about the looks. But that is just my opinion, and everybody is free to disagree and wear whatever they want and can afford

Ditto.. as a warrior main I find that FoW is just nasty. You couldn't give it to me. I'm not gonna drop that kind of loot on an armor set that I despise.
BTW, the chaos gloves look 10x better when you are out of town with weapons in your hand. They look a little odd (to say the least) when your talking to a merchant with sleevless armor and glowing hands

lol....
I've often referred to the Warrior FoW as "turd armour". It looks like somebody hosed them down with water and rolled them around a rabbit cage.
The female rit FoW is very nice though.

I like the warrior FoW but ill never be able to afford it.
Their, i may be the first guy on this entire forum and even Guildwars to admit liking male warrior fow whilst not owning it.
PS - If the chaos gloves were 15k id probably buy those too.

Chaos Gloves look fugly to me now.
They're just really bright and meant to attract the eyes. There was only one person they looked good on and that was a Mesmer that had her sleeves covering her arms. Her hands were the only thing shining and they were colored green.
I've never held an Ecto before and these gloves still give me no incentive to try and get one now. It's a nice skin. Just not my style.

The chaos gloves stand out far too much from the rest of any set. Detracts from the visuals. The only way way I would ever own a pair is if there was an entire chaos set.
